It was in 1971 when I became a full time Latin & English teacher in Tyler and Austin Texas, after earning my master’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin. Anyone who has ever taught in public school, or who has children, knows teaching is one of the greatest challenges in the world. Nonetheless, I love teaching and I still do it every day. I met David in 1986, and one year later we married. Fifteen years before we crossed paths and with only a few months of college, he started a career with an engineering and construction company in Houston, Texas, that lasted 15 years. Although he loved it, his management job was a grueling and stressful task. His ambition and desire to always go ahead in life made him change his career to direct sales. This indeed was a turning point for him.
Right before I met David, a friend of mine talked to me about the wonders of AMSOIL products. Delighted about not having to change the oil for a year, I bought five quarts and put it in my brand new 1986 Buick Century. A few months into my marriage, I randomly spoke to David about it. Truth to be told, he drained the AMSOIL out of my car. He had never heard of AMSOIL, and was convinced this company was in someone’s garage in the middle of “nowhere”…
Until this day I am not sure if it was his skepticism or his guilt which made him fly to Superior, Wisconsin to see whether this company was real or simply a scam. I don’t know the answer to this question, for David is no longer here physically. However, I know one thing: AMSOIL changed our life, and ever since David came back home from that trip, we decided to embark into this business and to teach others about the wonders of the company and what it can do for them.
My name is Carol Bell, and I am a proud AMSOIL Dealer. I happily have the largest AMSOIL dealership in the State of Texas for the past 20 years.
